Myomectomy
Myomectomy is the removal of the fibroid or fibroids (myomas) with preservation of the uterus. The fibroids may be:
Subserous: The fibroid is superficial in uterine wall under the covering layer serosa
Intramural: The fibroid is within the uterine wall.
Submucus: The fibroid is in the uterine wall but lies immediately under the endometrium and or bulging inside the uterus.
